ABSTRACT This study was carried out to compare the allometric coefficients (b) that describe the cuts and organs’ growth of quails kept in different thermal environments. Three hundred meat quails were distributed in a completely randomized design with two treatments (climatized environment (CE) with 26°C of ambient temperature and environment without climatization (EWC, 32°C)) and six replicates of 25 birds. Allometric equations based on weekly fasting weight (WF) for the breast weight (BW), thigh (TW), drumstick (DW), wing (WW), heart (HW), liver (LW) gizzard (GW) and intestine (IW) were performed. To compare the "b" of the cuts and organs parallelism tests were carried out. There was no difference between the "b" in any cuts and organs of quails kept in CE or EWC environments. We observed that the BW and DW showed positive heterogonic growth (b>1), TW isogonic growth (b=1), and WW and organs negative heterogonic growth (b<1) in relation PJ. The "b" that describes the growth of cuts and organs of quails kept in CE or EWC environments are not affected. The breast and drumstick presented late growth, the wing and the organs early growth, and the thigh showed a proportional increase with the fasting weight.

摘要 本研究旨在对比不同热环境下饲养的鹌鹑其分割部位与器官生长的异速生长系数(allometric coefficient)b。试验选用300只肉用鹌鹑,采用完全随机设计(completely randomized design)设置2个处理组:26℃恒温驯化环境(CE,climatized environment)与未温控环境(EWC,environment without climatization,32℃),每组设置6个重复,每个重复25只鹌鹑。基于每周空腹体重(WF,weekly fasting weight),分别建立胸肌重(BW,breast weight)、大腿重(TW,thigh weight)、胫肉重(DW,drumstick weight)、翅重(WW,wing weight)、心脏重(HW,heart weight)、肝脏重(LW,liver weight)、肌胃重(GW,gizzard weight)及肠道重(IW,intestine weight)的异速生长方程。为比较各分割部位与器官的异速生长系数b,开展了平行性检验。结果显示,CE与EWC环境下饲养的鹌鹑各分割部位及器官的异速生长系数b均无显著差异。研究观察到:相较于空腹体重,胸肌重与胫肉重呈正异速生长(b>1),大腿重呈等速生长(b=1),翅重及各器官呈负异速生长(b<1)。饲养热环境(CE或EWC)对鹌鹑分割部位与器官生长的异速生长系数b无显著影响。其中,胸肌与胫肉呈现晚熟生长模式,翅部与各器官呈现早熟生长模式,大腿重量则随空腹体重呈等比例增长。
