Data and code for "Constraining Linear Elastic Heterogeneity in Fault Damage Zones from Geodetic Observations"

This repository provides deformation-profile data and analysis codes supporting the study “Constraining Linear Elastic Heterogeneity in Fault Damage Zones from Geodetic Observations.” It includes (1) one-dimensional coseismic surface-deformation profiles across selected fault sections for the 1992 Landers, 1999 Hector Mine, and 2019 Ridgecrest earthquakes; (2) inversion configuration files for the three earthquake cases; (3) MATLAB scripts for kinematic finite-fault slip inversion using geodetic observations; and (4) Python workflows based on FEniCS and Gmsh for finite-element simulations of elastic heterogeneity within compliant fault damage zones.
