One of the largest breeds of dogs developed in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina is the Tornjak. It has an impressive size and loud barks that it uses to sound alarm and ward off intruders. Hence, it was majorly used as a livestock guardian. It has floppy ears set close to the face.
