WA Museum Ningaloo Marine Invertebrate Zoology database (via OBIS Australia)

This dataset comprises records of marine cnidaria and echinoderm specimens in the Western Australia Museum's Ningaloo Marine Invertebrate Zoology database. There are 1942 records of 663 discrete taxa in this dataset, representing 282 Cnidarian and 381 Echinoderm taxa. The specimens were collected between 1952 and 2004 in the region adjacent to Ningaloo Reef, a 260 km coral reef off the coast of North West Cape in NW Western Australia, in water depths ranging from 0 to 850 meters.
