Brassica oleracea var. oleracea Transcriptome or Gene expression

This study investigates the molecular responses of cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. oleracea) to combined biotic and chemical treatments under pest pressure. Plants were treated with two biological control agents (Serratia marcescens and Beauveria bassiana) and one chemical pesticide (imidacloprid), followed by infestation with the diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella). RNA was isolated from cabbage leaves and transcriptome sequencing was performed to examine differential gene expression. The data provide insights into plant insect pesticide interactions, contributing to a better understanding of plant defense mechanisms and the impact of pest management strategies at the molecular level.
