HQColon Dataset: High-Resolution Human Colon Segmentation Dataset

435 high-resolution segmentation masks of the human colon, obtained by segmenting the TCIA CT Colonography Dataset. The masks include both gas-filled and fluid-filled segments, and their accuracy has been clinically validated by an expert abdominal radiologist.

The repository also includes the RootPainter project used for segmenting the fluid-filled portions of the colon through an interactive machine-learning approach, along with the corresponding fluid annotations.

The segmentation masks can be used to train machine learning algorithms, support medical population analyses, or generate anatomical meshes for colon simulation.
