IMOS SOOP Sea Surface Temperature data collected on the MV Pacific Celebes

This dataset contains Sea Surface Temperature (SST) underway observations collected on trips of the MV Pacific Celebes (callsign VRZN9).SST is measured by two different types of sensors. One is Aanderaa 4050, 3 of which are installed in a water tank in the engine room, and a Seabird SBE 48.The water supply to the tank comes from the main water intake at the bottom (at the nominal depth of 12 meters) and about 15-20 meters of piping.SBE48 is located in the engine compartment next to the water tank at the depth of 8 meters (when the ship is fully laden). SST and met data are instantaneous, collected every 5 minutes.The data are quality controlled by the Bureau of Meteorology. The daily data files are available from eMII after 0700 UTC.

本数据集包含MV Pacific Celebes（呼号VRZN9）船舶航行过程中采集的海表温度（Sea Surface Temperature, SST）走航观测数据。该海表温度由两类不同传感器采集：其一为Aanderaa 4050型传感器，共3台，安装于机舱内的水箱中；其二为Seabird SBE 48型传感器。该水箱的供水源自船底主取水口（标称深度12米），输水管道总长约15至20米。SBE 48型传感器安装于机舱内紧邻该水箱的位置，船舶满载时的安装深度为8米。海表温度与气象数据均为瞬时采样数据，采集间隔为每5分钟一次。本数据集已由澳大利亚气象局（Bureau of Meteorology）完成质量控制。每日数据文件可在世界协调时07:00之后通过eMII获取。
