This dataset records the state-owned afforestation area in various regions from 1966 to 1975. It was compiled based on the *National Forestry Statistical Compilation (1949-1987)*, covering data from 29 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and central ministry-affiliated units across China (excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao) during this period.
