Fault Atlas — the 272 Europe PMC articles of the August 2026 observation, frozen as read on 2026-08-08

The corpus on which the August 2026 forms of the Fault Atlas were measured: 272 open-access articles from Europe PMC, full text in JATS XML, downloaded on 2026-08-08 from the Europe PMC REST API (fullTextXML) in eight strata (bio, case reports, clinical trials, meta-analyses, 2024-2026, non-English, physics/maths, retraction notices). This deposit keeps the files exactly as they were read, so that every figure of the Atlas can be checked on the same bytes: 267 files under a named Creative Commons licence (found inside each file), plus the manifest (PMCID, stratum, selection query, sha256, bytes, licence). Five articles are not redistributed (two under a publisher licence forbidding it, three stating only 'Creative Commons'): their identifier and sha256 are in the manifest. Copyright stays with the authors and publishers of each article. Each form of the Atlas links the documents it was found in: faultatlas.loxyn.ai.
