The study employed a mixed methods research design, integrating quantitative and qualitative methodologies in an in-depth analysis of the research questions. This research design is an organized mechanism of investigation into the research questions by simultaneously incorporating both quantitative and qualitative modes of study, thereby ensuring a full understanding of the effectiveness and impact of AI-enhanced MR technologies in teaching technical English to engineering students in Gulf countries.

本研究采用混合研究设计（mixed methods research design），整合定量与定性研究方法，对研究问题展开深度剖析。该研究设计通过同时融合定量与定性研究范式，构建起一套针对研究问题的系统化调研机制，从而实现对人工智能增强型混合现实（AI-enhanced MR）技术在海湾国家工科学生专业英语教学中的应用效果与影响的全面理解。
