Landsat8卫星包含OLI(OperationalLandImager陆地成像仪)和TIRS(ThermalInfraredSensor热红外传感器)两种传感器,数据共有11个波段,其中,1-7波段及9波段空间分辨率为30m,8波段为全色波段,空间分辨率为15m,10波段和11波段为热红外波段,原始分辨率为100m,影像数据重采样至30m。本数据集包括尼泊尔及喜马拉雅山部分区域Landsat8影像数据,数据集时间包括2014年和2015年。数据按Landsat8数据行列号分幅,每一景数据包括Landsat8影像1级产品(L1T)的11个波段(数据经过几何校正和地形校正)、15m分辨率多光谱波段/全色波段融合影像产品(432真彩色、543假彩色)。

The Landsat 8 satellite is equipped with two sensors: the Operational Land Imager (OLI) and the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS). It has a total of 11 spectral bands. Of these, Bands 1 through 7 and Band 9 have a spatial resolution of 30 m; Band 8 is the panchromatic band with a spatial resolution of 15 m; Bands 10 and 11 are thermal infrared bands with an original resolution of 100 m, which are resampled to 30 m.
This dataset contains Landsat 8 image data for portions of Nepal and the Himalayas, with image acquisition spanning 2014 and 2015. The data is tiled according to the path and row numbers of standard Landsat 8 datasets. Each scene includes two categories of products: 1) the 11-band Landsat 8 Level-1 Terrain Corrected (L1T) product, which has undergone geometric and terrain correction; and 2) 15 m resolution multispectral-panchromatic fused image products, including 432-band true-color and 543-band false-color composites.
Specifically:
- Products ending with "_432Band_Fuse.tif" are 15 m resolution 432-band true-color multispectral-panchromatic fused images;
- Products ending with "_543Band_Fuse.tif" are 15 m resolution 543-band false-color multispectral-panchromatic fused images.
