资源简介:
This study investigates the factors influencing gut microbiome development in piglets, focusing on the impact of maternal microbiota during early life stages. Given the critical role of gut microbiota in immune development, metabolism, and pathogen resistance, understanding this influence is essential for promoting pig health and performance. The research involved 16S rRNA sequencing of fecal microbiomes from eighteen piglets and their eight respective sows, with samples collected from 7 days after birth to 10 days post-weaning. This comprehensive analysis aims to enhance our understanding of microbial diversity, composition, and the dynamics of gut microbiome development, particularly during the crucial suckling and weaning periods.
