资源简介:

This upload contains three CSV tables (S1–S3) from the supplementary material of “Physicochemical variability of dust-emitting sediments across arid landscapes in Jordan” (González-Romero et al.). The tables compile particle-size statistics, bulk mineralogy (wt%), and operationally-defined Fe fractions for dust-emitting sediments across multiple regions in Jordan. Table S1. Summary of particle size (mean particle diameter) under fully dispersed (FD) and minimally dispersed (MD)conditions for dust-emitting sediments across sampled Jordan regions. Includes sample region, sample ID (“Number”), coordinates (Latitude/Longitude, decimal degrees), and sample type (C = crust; S = sediment; R = aeolian ripple). FD d(0.5) and MD d(0.5) are reported in µm. “Random” entries indicate composite samples collected from multiple points within a larger area (Wadi Rum) for the same material type. Columns: Region; Number; Latitude; Longitude; Type; FD d (0.5) [µm]; MD d (0.5) [µm]. Table S2. Bulk mineralogical composition of Jordan samples reported as weight percent (%) for major mineral groups/phases: Qtz (Quartz), Feld (Feldspars), Clay, Zeo (Zeolites), Serp (Serpentines), Amph (Amphiboles), Carb (Carbonates), Hal (Halite), Gyp (Gypsum), Mag (Magnetite), Hem (Hematite). Sample identifiers correspond to the supplementary material; type codes are C = crust, S = sediment, R = aeolian ripple; “R.C.”/“R.S.”/“R.R.” indicate random composite crust/sediment/ripple samples. Values reported as “< 0.1” in the supplement are preserved as text in the CSV. Columns: Number; Type; Qtz; Feld; Clay; Zeo; Serp; Amph; Carb; Hal; Gyp; Mag; Hem (all mineral columns in wt%). Table S3. Operationally-defined Fe occurrences reported as concentrations (mg/g) for each sample: FeT (total Fe), FeA(bio-exchangeable Fe), FeD (hematite + goethite Fe), and FeM (magnetite Fe), with sample ID (“Number”) and material type (C = crust; S = sediment; R = aeolian ripple; plus “Random” composites). Numeric values originally written with decimal commas in the supplement were converted to decimal points for the CSV. Columns: Number; Type; FeT [mg/g]; FeM [mg/g]; FeD [mg/g]; FeA [mg/g].
