Dengue situation room as a health management tool

This study is based on documents, and of retrospective and descriptive nature, applying data retrieved from the Information System of Reportable Diseases - 2012 first semester with the aim to present the dengue situation room from the IV Sanitary District-DSIV, in João Pessoa-PB, as a tool to support planning and management. As a result, from the 2,732 cases of dengue reported, 1,645 were confirmed. On DSIV territory, 302 cases were reported, with higher incidence of the disease in the neighborhoods of Centro (9.8%), Treze de Maio (7%) and Varadouro (6.1%). It is necessary the use of information for assessing health development and guiding educational, intersectorial and awareness actions.

本研究基于文献资料，属于回顾性描述性研究，采用2012年上半年法定报告传染病信息系统（Information System of Reportable Diseases）检索获取的数据，旨在呈现巴西帕拉伊巴州若昂佩索阿市第四卫生区（IV Sanitary District-DSIV）的登革热疫情现状，以此作为支持规划与管理的工具。结果显示，在报告的2732例登革热病例中，共有1645例经确诊。在第四卫生区辖区内，共报告302例病例，其中森特罗（Centro）、特雷济-德马约（Treze de Maio）与瓦拉杜罗（Varadouro）三个社区的疾病发病率较高，占比分别为9.8%、7%和6.1%。亟需利用相关信息开展健康发展评估，并指导教育、跨部门及健康宣教行动。
