SIOP dataset

This dataset comprises 150 standardized Periodontal intraoral photographic-series(SPIP) collected by 9 dentists, totaling 1,350 high-resolution clinical intraoral photographs. Individual photo quality was assessed by three periodontists based on five criteria: clarity, illumination, completeness, distortion, and standardization, with scores assigned for each dimension. The overall image quality of each SPIP and the severity of gingival inflammation of each patient was also comprehensively evaluated.Patients diagnosed with periodontal disease at the Department of Periodontology, Shanghai Stomatological Hospital (SHSH) , underwent initial clinical examinations and consultations by 9 qualified dentists. Following provision of informed consent, standardized SPIP were captured to collect image data.
