The article describes the efforts of Russian traders to seize the country's free markets in order to sell their goods, not limited to smuggling cotton, after the establishment of Russian rule in Fergana province, such as Turkestan. The consequences of the unilateral development of agriculture in the country by the Russian Empire and the Russian bourgeoisie in their own interests are revealed
