This dataset develops capacity utilization indices for 71 manufacturing sectors, 16 mining sectors, and 2 utility sectors. Capacity Utilization: Total Capacity Utilization (TCU) denotes the percentage of resources deployed by all facilities excluding those located within the United States, which are involved in manufacturing, mining, and electric and natural gas utility operations to produce goods for companies and factories. It is also possible to explore that capacity utilization can be interpreted as the proportion of total available capacity utilized to manufacture finished goods to meet demand.
