The task of the FLECS project is the development of a database for the Environmental Control System (ECS). Each component of the ECS is related to one model block. In general the description of the ECS is correlated to the description of an air/gas distribution network. The model blocks correspond to a physical model. The inner structure of the models is built up as universal as possible considering thermodynamic and fluid mechanic basics. Generalized volume elements consider water vapor, CO2 content and free water, condensation and evaporation processes, incompressible and compressible flow conditions. Further elements: Nodes, heat transfer elements, steady state and dynamical heat exchangers, specialized flow resistances like compressors and turbines, vapor compression cycle systems.
FLECS项目的任务是开发环境控制系统(Environmental Control System,ECS)专用数据库。该环境控制系统的每个组件均对应一个模型模块。总体而言,环境控制系统的描述与空气/气体分配网络的描述具有相关性。所有模型模块均对应物理模型,模型的内部结构以兼顾热力学与流体力学基本原理的方式尽可能实现通用化构建。通用化体积单元可覆盖水蒸气、CO₂含量、自由水、冷凝与蒸发过程,以及不可压缩与可压缩流动工况。其余模型单元包括:节点、传热元件、稳态与动态换热器、压缩机、涡轮机等专用流动阻力装置,以及蒸汽压缩循环系统。
