Datasets for anticipatory behaviour displayed by rats housed in standard vs. semi-naturalistic laboratory environments

Female Sprague-Dawley rats were housed long-term in standard or semi-naturalistic laboratory environments. These experiments tested rats' behaviour during their anticipation of a palatable treat. Datasets are provided for the Pilot Study, Experiment 1 (where rats were tested at baseline, under the influence of an antidepressant, and after return to baseline) and Experiment 2 (where rats were tested at baseline and under the influence of an anxiolytic).

将雌性斯普拉格-道利大鼠（Sprague-Dawley rats）长期饲养于标准实验室环境或半自然化实验室环境中。本系列实验考察大鼠在期待美味奖励时的行为表现。本数据集包含预实验（Pilot Study）、实验1（Experiment 1）与实验2（Experiment 2）的相关数据：实验1中大鼠分别在基线状态、抗抑郁药（antidepressant）作用下以及恢复至基线状态后接受行为测试；实验2中大鼠则分别在基线状态与抗焦虑药（anxiolytic）作用下接受行为测试。
