Evaluating Teacher-Distilled Opening Books for Time-Efficient Xiangqi Play: Data and Code

This record contains the research data and analysis code supporting "Evaluating Teacher-Distilled Opening Books for Time-Efficient Xiangqi Play". It includes a 500-opening suite, three position-indexed opening books, per-game and per-move records for 5,200 color-swapped Xiangqi games across 12 configurations, a 100-position teacher-stability audit, statistical summaries, and reproducible analysis and figure-generation scripts. The analyses cover native search budgets, matched-key book comparisons,opening horizons, held-out starts, actual disagreement exposure, stage-specific timing, and terminal-adjudication threshold sensitivity. The README provides execution commands, a record guide, environment identifiers, and checksums. The engine executable and NNUE network are obtained separately; their hashes are recorded in environment.json.
