Survey Data on Farmers Awareness, Perception level towards Futures Market

A survey was carried out with 314 Chillies farmers at Ramanathapuram District of TamilNadu, 383 Turmeric Cultivators in the Erode District of TamilNadu and 221 Cardamom growers in Theni District of TamilNadu to understand the information sources used by the farmers for taking pricing decisions , the awareness level and perception towards commodity futures market and preference towards usage of marketing alternatives in selling their produce. The data is in the SPSS file format(.sav) where the variables used along with the coded data set is available. The details of the variables used and the scale are given in the data.

本研究针对印度泰米尔纳德邦拉马纳塔普兰县的314名辣椒种植户、埃罗德县的383名姜黄种植户及泰尼县的221名小豆蔻种植户开展问卷调查，旨在探究农户在制定农产品定价决策时所依赖的信息来源、对商品期货市场的认知程度与态度，以及在销售农产品时对各类营销替代方案的选择偏好。本数据集采用SPSS文件格式（.sav）存储，其中包含所用变量与编码后的完整数据集；所用变量的详细说明及测量量表均已随数据集一并提供。
