Survey Dataset of Spoken Slovene Dialects in Kamnik, Medana, and Dokležovje

This dataset contains three dialect texts collected using a pre-prepared, constructed source text written in standard Slovenian. Informants from Kamnik, Dokležovje, and Medana adapted the source text into their local, informal dialects, read it aloud, and recorded it. The recordings have been transcribed phonetically to allow for linguistic analysis. The source text includes words from the grammatical section of the Slovenian Linguistic Atlas (SLA) questionnaire, enabling the study of selected initial common Slovenian phonemes in the recorded speech. The texts are presented to facilitate comparison of dialectal realizations at the phonological, morphological, lexical, and syntactic levels. The dataset supports research in dialectology, phonetics, and Slovenian linguistic variation.
