The elite rice quality locus Wxla was obtained through the analysis of fat-related genes using genome-wide association study (GWAS) and whole-genome sequencing. The main experimental instruments employed include the PCR thermal cycler (Bio-Rad T100), DNA analyzer, and Illumina sequencers, among others.
