In 3D cultures of hPSC-derived lung progenitors withdrawal of the GSK3 inhibitor, CHIR99021, induces multilineage maturation, including of proximal cells, type I alveolar epithelial cells and morphologically mature type II cells. Overall design: Lung Progenitors and D50 differentiated cells mRNA profiles were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq2500. D50 differentiated lung progenitor single-cell RNA profiles were generated using HiSeq4000 and 10x genomics' cellranger pipeline v2.0.0.
