Data for: The Role of Working Memory in Unfamiliar Word Processing across Proficiency Levels: Evidence from Eye Movements

Participants’ eye movements were recorded using an EyeLink 1000 plus desk-mounted eye-tracking camera (SR Research, Osgoode, Ontario, Canada). Here, the data of total reading time, first fixation duration, gaze duration, and number of fixations were used to obtain a comprehensive picture of target words processing.

本研究采用EyeLink 1000 Plus桌面式眼动追踪摄像头（EyeLink 1000 Plus desk-mounted eye-tracking camera）记录被试的眼动轨迹，该设备由加拿大安大略省奥斯古德的SR Research公司制造。本研究选取总阅读时长、首次注视持续时间、凝视时长以及注视次数四项指标，以全面呈现目标词加工过程的完整图景。
