Human-associated Bifidobacterium genomes

Human-associated Bifidobacterium genomes for estimating the boundaries of species delimitation and core proteome The present dataset comprises 822 genomes obtained from a BV-BRC database request for human-associated Bifidobacterium species. The dataset also includes a couple of outlier genomes (E. coli and Lactobacillus spp.) for comparative purposes. All the genomes are in .fna format and are contained in a compressed folder (genomes.tar.gz). Aside from the genomic information collected, a metadata file is also provided, including major features annotated from the BV-BRC biorepository and obtained from our analytical processing of this large amount of genomic information, covering quality aspects of genome assembly and taxonomic annotations (Supplementary_TableS1.xlsx).
