In order to investigate the response of the soybean root phosphorus starvation strategy under varying phosphorus levels from soybean morphology, physiological enzyme activities, organic secretion, and mycorrhizal symbiosis, among other factors, five different phosphorus concentrations were set up in this study. Additionally, a comprehensive investigation of multi-omics (transcriptome and metabolome) research was conducted in order to elucidate the trade-off mechanism of the soybean root phosphorus uptake strategy, improve the adaptation model of low phosphorus stress in soybeans, and achieve weight loss and efficiency-all of which contributed to the creation of a new scientific foundation.
