VPRS 7132 Type Drawings and Specifications

This series comprises plans and specifications for the treatment of sludge in mining operations. It consists of  printed templates of standard drawings known as 'Type Drawings &  Specifications' that were to accompany what would appear to be agency 'Order Nos'. Spaces were left in which the order number and presumably a date were to be handwritten when used for specific orders. Only Type drawings 1-5 and 8 are included along with another unnumbered plan. It is likely the plans were printed by the Mines Department on behalf of the Sludge Abatement Board, as only the unnumbered plan is identified by reference to that agency. Many of the plans are probably inter related but none are dated and only the the unnumbered plan contains a formal plan description. Plans seem to depict - No. 1 Brush and Earth Dam [1 copy], No. 2 Brush and Earth Dam [3 copies], No 3 Waste Weir [3 copies], No 4 Loose Stone Wall [2 copies], No 5 Piles to be Driven into Soft Ground [3 copies}, and No 8 Lacework for Brush and Earth Dam. The unnumbered plan is titled, Dept of Mines Standard Bridging on Bridle track.
