The Proximal Emotional Environment Project (PEEP)

Children underwent MRI scanning while passively listening to an adult speaking to a third party in an angry, happy, or neutral tone of voice (prosody). Funded by a grant from the Penn State Social Sciences Research Institute (SSRI).
