A boy stands walking his bicycle at center, beneath the shade of the trees lining either side of the street. A man in a top hat and jacket stands behind him in the distance, his hands folded behind his back. Through the trees to the right, a small, one-story building shows a sign on its side that reads "West Park Tract". A craftsman-style house can be seen a little beyond this behind a utility pole farther left. Previous record file asserts: "A sign on a frame building states, West Park Tract, Photo credit to The C.C. Pierce Collection, Historical Photographs, 1572 West Pico Street, Los Angeles, California.".
