Vietnam Industrial Production

Vietnam’s industrial production grew 8.9% year-on-year in August 2025, accelerating from a downwardly revised 7.4% in the previous month and marking the seventh straight month of expansion, as well as the fastest pace since May. Output growth strengthened in manufacturing (9.5% vs 7.6% in July) and mining (9.1% vs 4.4%), while it eased in electricity & gas supply (6.1% vs 7.9%) and waste management (2.4% vs 7.1%). For the first eight months of the year, industrial output rose 8.5%.
