This dataset comprises tree species classification statistics for Pingxiang City, categorized by forest origin and forest types, which is extracted from the 2005 forest resource statistical dataset of Jiangxi Province. The statistics cover the following indicators for each district and county in Pingxiang City: forest origin, forest subtype, dominant tree species, area and standing stock volume of arbor forests, area of bamboo forests, area and standing stock volume of sparse forests, area of special shrub forests, area of other shrub forests, area of artificially afforested young stands, and area of enclosed young stands.
