This dataset integrates water quality chemical monitoring data from multiple sites in the Yanmen River Basin, Taihe, Jiangxi, China, spanning 2003–2023. It includes data from rainfall, surface water, and groundwater. The rainfall dataset contains basic parameters like pH, SO₄²⁻, and electrical conductivity (EC). Surface and groundwater data systematically monitor 12 key indicators, including pH, Cl⁻, TN, TP, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, K⁺, Na⁺, SO₄²⁻, PO₄³⁻, NO₃⁻, and EC. Using standardized sampling and laboratory analysis, a 21 year’s water quality database was built. The dataset records soluble materials migration during the hydrological cycle, offering basic data for simulating biogeochemical cycles, studying water - environment benchmarks, tracing pollution sources, and analyzing hydrological responses to climate change.
