The Billion Prices Project: Price Indices

Daily price indices, monthly, and annual inflation rates for Argentina and the US. Monthly data with annual inflation rates for Argentina, Brazil, China, Germany, Japan, South Africa, UK, US, 3 US sectors, and global aggregates (including Eurozone). Daily PPP series for Argentina and Australia. The data were used in the paper titled “The Billion Prices Project: Using Online Data for Measurement and Research” – Journal of Economic Perspectives , 31(1) (Spring 2016). Countries: 8 (plus 3 US sectors and 3 global aggregates) Dates : 2007/2008 to 2015
