MicroRNA and isomiR reference ranges in plasma from healthy human participants

This entry contains suggested reference ranges for the expression levels of microRNAs and their isomiRs in exosomes from EDTA plasma collected from healthy individuals. Reference ranges span the range of values falling between the fifth and ninety-fifth percentiles from the median, calculated using batch-corrected CPM normalised data from the publicly available dataset under accession number GSE181810 in the GEO Datasets database. Separate matrices providing the median, upper and lower limits of reference ranges are provided for microRNA data (with expression values for all isoforms arising from a single microRNA precursor arm combined) and isomiR data (with each length and sequence variant from each microRNA precursor arm counted separately).
