Potentially shallow geothermal sand of Brussels contour

Commissioned by the province of Zuid-Holland, IF-Technology carried out the study ‘Potential geothermal energy in South Holland’, 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Sand of Brussels. The formation is located at a depth of approximately 650 to 850 m-NAP. The potential for shallow geothermal energy (OGT) is defined as the amount of groundwater that can be extracted from the subsurface at a location for the supply of heat (flow rate in m³/h). Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal heat.受南荷兰省（Zuid-Holland）委托，IF-Technology公司于2016年12月2日开展了《南荷兰省地热潜能》研究。本数据集附带的地图展示了布鲁塞尔砂层（Sand of Brussels）的地热潜能。该地层的赋存深度约为650至850米（NAP基准）。浅层地热能（OGT）潜能被定义为：某一点位地下可抽取用于供热的地下水总流量（单位：立方米/小时，即m³/h）。地热能亦被称为地热热能。
