Provincial Waterways (Environmental Ordinance)

This stock contains provincial waterways as laid down in the Environmental Ordinance of the Province of Groningen. Just as for our roads, there is also a conservation and replacement declaration for our waterways. The multi-annual programme management and maintenance only provides for the so-called “regular management and maintenance”, but does not provide room for large-scale dredging or replacement tasks (e.g. bridges/locks) for the waterway infrastructure. The ‘Nota Beheer provincial waterways 2011-2020’ list our targets and bottlenecks for our waterways. We realise the targets within our financial possibilities phased out, by applying the corresponding job requirements in new construction or replacement, balanced against other societal interests. This concerns in particular the height and width of bridges. We use the “Walkways Guidelines” as the starting point.

本数据集涵盖格罗宁根省（Province of Groningen）《环境条例》所界定的省级航道。与本省道路系统一致，航道领域亦设有养护与更换申报制度。多年度项目管理与养护工作仅覆盖所谓"常规管理与养护"范畴，无法为航道基础设施的大规模疏浚或更换作业（如桥梁、船闸）预留实施空间。《2011-2020年省级航道管理报告（Nota Beheer provincial waterways 2011-2020）》列明了本省航道的建设目标与现存瓶颈。我们将在财政许可范围内分阶段落实各项目标，在新建或更换工程中执行相应作业标准，并兼顾其他社会公共利益。此项工作尤其涉及桥梁的净高与净宽要求，我们以《步道指南（Walkways Guidelines）》作为工作基准。
