This LTER Remote Sensing spatial raster dataset consists of LEDAPS corrected Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper image data for California Current Ecosystem LTER, originally collected on 1997-07-29 (17:53:30.7080440Z) by Landsat 5, row 037, path 040. Cloud cover was 50 percent. The Landsat Ecosystem Disturbance Adaptive Processing System (LEDAPS) software was originally developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration–Goddard Space Flight Center and the University of Maryland to produce top-of-atmosphere reflectance from Landsat Thematic Mapper and Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus Level 1 digital numbers and to apply atmospheric corrections to generate a surface-reflectance product. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has adopted the LEDAPS algorithm for producing the Landsat Surface Reflectance Climate Data Record. 本数据集为长期生态研究(Long Term Ecological Research, LTER)遥感空间栅格数据集,包含经陆地生态系统扰动自适应处理系统(Landsat Ecosystem Disturbance Adaptive Processing System, LEDAPS)校正后的陆地卫星增强型专题制图仪影像数据,面向加州洋流生态系统长期生态研究站。该影像于1997年7月29日17时53分30.7080440秒(协调世界时)由陆地卫星5号采集,轨道行号为037、路径号为040,云量覆盖率为50%。
陆地生态系统扰动自适应处理系统软件最初由美国国家航空航天局(National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA)戈达德航天飞行中心与马里兰大学联合开发,可基于陆地卫星专题制图仪及增强型专题制图仪Plus的一级数字数值生成大气顶层反射率,并通过大气校正生成地表反射率产品。
美国地质调查局(U.S. Geological Survey, USGS)已采用LEDAPS算法生成陆地卫星地表反射率气候数据记录。
