PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of decorative veneer capable of efficiently manufacturing while capable of forming a pattern in which a boundary between mutual veneer constituting pieces is slanted relative to a veneer width direction. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of decorative veneer for manufacturing a decorative veneer 1 which is long in one direction comprises a step in which a plurality of square-pillar shaped woods 2 are integrated in parallel in a veneer longitudinal direction while mutually being slanted relative to a veneer width direction， and a step in which four peripheries of an integrated assembly 3 are cut off so that the four peripheral side surfaces are parallel to the veneer width direction and the veneer longitudinal direction.
