Ratio of new and used truck purchases by common carriers in Japan 2020, by occasion

As of October 2020, around 89 percent of standard-sized trucks owned by surveyed common carriers in Japan were new purchases. Most of the vehicles used by the respondents were replacements. Replacements, moreover, had the highest share of new purchases among investigated buying occasions.
