Analysis of endophytic bacterial community of orchid roots

The orchid roots are strongly associated with a wide variety of endophytic microbes. Predominant endophytic bacteria are likely to have profound effects on their hosts; thereby analyzing their function may lead to a detailed understanding of plant-bacteria interactions. To elucidate the predominant endophytic bacteria of orchid plants (genus Dendrobium), 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing was conducted.
