Trinity assembly and Trinotate annotation of the transcriptome of Baicalellia solaris. Raw sequence reads are available at SRA accessible at NCBI via the Bioproject PRJNA544107. Paired-end reads were trimmed and de novo assembled into transcripts with Trinity v2.4.0. The transcriptome was annotated using the Trinotate v.3.1.1 annotation pipeline, which includes blastx and blastp homology searches to the BLAST+/SwissProt databases, protein domain identification with HMMER/Pfam, signal peptide and transmembrane domain prediction with signalP/tmHMM, and functional annotation against eggNOG/GO/Kegg databases.Transcript abundance was estimated with the RSEM method using the normalised expression values TPM and FPKM.
