Data on black spot disease occurence in fish communities of lakes from Québec, Canada

This dataset is the result of a collaborative study on spatial ecology of the black spot disease in fish communities from the littoral zone of lakes located in Saint-Hippotyle, QC, Canada. Sampling occurred during summer 2022. Black spot occurence was assessed in fish samples through either minnow traps, seine nets or observational snorkeling transects. This data describe fish community matrix, infected fish community matrix and their environment. Habitat description and water chemistry measurements are given for transect samples. Geographical and morphometric lake attributes are also given.

本数据集源自一项针对加拿大魁北克省（QC）圣伊波利特（Saint-Hippotyle）地区湖泊沿岸带（littoral zone）鱼类群落中黑点病（black spot disease）空间生态学的合作研究。采样工作于2022年夏季开展。研究人员通过小型诱捕笼（minnow traps）、围网（seine nets）以及浮潜观测样线（snorkeling transects）三种方式，对鱼类样本中的黑点病感染情况进行评估。本数据集涵盖鱼类群落矩阵（fish community matrix）、感染黑点病的鱼类群落矩阵（infected fish community matrix）及其栖息环境相关数据。样线样本配套包含生境描述与水体化学测定数据，同时收录湖泊的地理属性与形态测量学参数。
