Postcode to Broad Rental Market Areas (BRMAs) Lookup v2.1 (2024)

This dataset is part of an existing series. First version: Urban Big Data Centre (2023). Postcode to Broad Rental Market Areas (BRMAs) Lookup [Data set]. University of Glasgow. This dataset is a lookup file linking unit postcodes to Broad Rental Market Area (BRMA) boundaries for Great Britainthe UK. BRMAs are the spatial areas used for the administration of Housing Benefit or Local Housing Allowance in Great Britain. There are 192 200 BRMAs in total.

BRMA boundaries were collected from publicly available datasets. For Great Britain, postcodes were linked to BRMAs using and linked to postcode centroids from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) postcode centroid lookups. 本数据集为关联英国（大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国）内单位邮编与宽泛租赁市场区域（BRMA）边界的对照表文件。宽泛租赁市场区域（BRMA）是英国用于住房福利或本地住房补贴管理的空间区划单元，全英共计192,200个BRMA区域。
BRMA边界数据均采集自公开数据集。针对大不列颠地区，本数据集借助英国国家统计局（Office for National Statistics, ONS）提供的邮编质心对照表，完成了单位邮编与BRMA的关联，并将邮编匹配至对应质心。
