资源简介:
The SAMO project consists of a time-series campaign carried out on the Atlantic coast of Uruguay, initiated in 2018. The data collected includes 16S and 18S rRNA amplicon data, metagenomic data, detailed environmental characterizations, and measurements of primary production, bacterial production, and respiration. The SAMO project aims to study the dynamics of the functional and taxonomic composition of microbial communities, as well as the environmental conditions over time. Furthermore, it aims to link this information with environmental processes to better understand the role of microorganisms in the oceans and contribute to the development of models that can potentially help mitigate and predict the impact of global warming on marine ecosystems and global biogeochemical processes.
