NST constructed passwords
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains 1,000 keyboard-switched passwords constructed for the study "Thai Keyboard Layout–Switched Passwords: Empirical Strength Assessment and Threat Analysis" (Triyason, T., Information Security Journal: A Global Perspective, Taylor & Francis, under review). The dataset was systematically compiled from 15 semantic categories of Thai vocabulary — including proverbs, greetings, gaming terminology, food items, place names, and common idioms — representing the range of Thai phrases that users might plausibly employ as mnemonic bases for password creation. Each Thai source phrase was converted to its keyboard-switched equivalent by applying the unshifted Kedmanee–QWERTY positional mapping defined under Thai Industrial Standard TIS 820-2538, using a custom conversion tool developed for this research. The dataset supports empirical analysis of password strength (entropy, zxcvbn estimation) and resistance to penetration testing (Hashcat). It is intended for use in academic password security research.
