Theranostic nanoplatforms for therapy and diagnostics of ovarian cancer - preliminary studies: representative raw FTIR, XRD, and SEM data for alginate–based capsule systems

This dataset contains selected raw FTIR, XRD, and low-resolution SEM data obtained during the synthesis and preliminary characterization of alginate capsules formed using CaCO₃ microparticle templates. The collection includes FTIR spectra of pure alginate capsules, alginate capsules modified with folic acid (FA), and the CaCO₃ templates, as well as a raw XRD diffractogram confirming the crystalline phases of the sacrificial templates. Low-resolution SEM images illustrate the morphology of CaCO₃ templates and document the presence of capsule systems decorated with silver (Alg@AgNPs) and copper nanoparticles (Alg@CuNPs), without disclosing high-resolution structural information. Only minimal, non-sensitive data are provided to demonstrate the analytical workflow, while detailed characterization of hybrid and theranostic capsule systems is withheld due to ongoing publication plans. The dataset is linked to an engineering thesis project and a jointly authored conference abstract completed within the broader research on multifunctional biomaterials.
