Fishes in MZNA-VERT: freshwater communities in the Larraun river (Spain). PhD project, Javier Oscoz & Master project, A. Cos.

Rivers suffer from a wide range of human impacts that need to be studied (Oscoz, 2003). The ecologic quality of the Larraun river was analysed between 1996 and 1998 to assess the impact caused by the building of a new road and industrial activities: water quality, habitat, macroinvertebrates and fish community. The river presented organic pollution near towns and high nitrite levels. Data about fish biometry, age and feeding are given in the study. Some years later, the river was sampled to analyse the evolution of the fish populations after the building of the road.

河流正面临多类人类活动干扰，相关影响亟待开展研究（Oscoz，2003）。本研究于1996至1998年间对拉劳恩河（Larraun River）的生态质量展开分析，以评估新建道路建设与工业活动所造成的干扰，分析维度涵盖水质、栖息地、大型无脊椎动物（macroinvertebrates）与鱼类群落。该河段在城镇周边存在有机污染，且亚硝酸盐浓度偏高。本研究提供了鱼类生物测量参数、年龄与食性相关数据。数年后，研究团队再次对该河开展采样工作，以分析道路建成后鱼类种群的动态变化。
