Appendix 1 - The Roleplay Intervention Scenarios

The Roleplay Intervention Scenarios for Nursing Documentation involve practical training sessions aimed at improving various aspects of nursing documentation. Each scenario focuses on a key area such as patient history-taking, SOAP note documentation, continuity of care, medication administration, cultural sensitivity, emergency case documentation, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) accuracy. Common errors addressed include missing or incomplete documentation, misclassification of patient information, delayed follow-up, medication timing discrepancies, and inadequate cultural sensitivity. The intervention methods used include traditional roleplay, digital simulations, peer feedback, reflective practice, and hands-on EHR training. Each scenario is designed to last for 2 hours, with the goal of enhancing documentation skills, improving accuracy, and ensuring timely and culturally competent records.
