Carbon and nitrogen stable isotope variation in semi-arid woody plant species growing in managed and natural settings across Southern California

Data include leaf nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) concentrations (%) and delta 13C and 15N natural abundances for native Mediterranean-type plant species growing in adjacent urban and natural areas at six different universities throughout Southern California.
